There are no costs to get started.
Workers who sign up on Instawork have to create a detailed profile. We collect and verify over 30 skills data points, including work history, skill quizzes, professional references, and valid certifications.
We’re different from local temp agencies because these data points are available to you to review via their profile. Plus, once they start completing shifts through Instawork, we continue to assess their work performance with ratings, feedback, and on-time metrics.
We use algorithmic tools to match Professionals with opportunities and to help assess eligibility for certain positions on our platform. These tools analyze information such as qualifications, work history, and prior performance. Algorithmic processing is one of multiple factors that may influence how opportunities become available. You can opt out of algorithmic processing, and we will honor your request where required by law. However, because this is integral to how our platform matches Professionals with opportunities, those opportunities may not be available to you. To submit a request, contact privacy@instawork.com. We respond to verified requests within the timeframes required by applicable law.
