Our Employee Spotlight series takes the opportunity to highlight members of our team and to give a glimpse into our culture and what it's like to work at Instawork. To highlight the diversity of our team, we've asked Avantika Garg, Senior Product Manager, to share more about her experience working at Instawork.

What do you do at Instawork and how long have you been with the company?

I'm a Product Manager at Instawork, and I've been with the company for three exciting years.

As a PM, whether improving workflows, building new tools, or analyzing user feedback, I aim to create products that drive results and make a tangible difference in our users' lives.

What initially attracted you to Instawork?

What attracted me most was the opportunity to work on a mission that combines business growth with meaningful social impact. Instawork's commitment to empowering businesses and workers resonated deeply with me. The chance to innovate and collaborate with a team of highly driven individuals sealed the deal—I knew this was where I wanted to be.

What's your favorite part of your job?

My favorite part of being a Product Manager is working closely with teams across engineering, design, and data to bring ideas to life. Seeing a product evolve from concept to execution—and then hearing from Partners and Pros about how it's made their lives easier—is incredibly fulfilling. Plus, the collaborative culture at Instawork makes every day a new learning experience.

What is one piece of “work from home” equipment you couldn't live without?

My noise-cancelling headphones. They help me focus during virtual meetings and are perfect for staying in the zone during deep work sessions.

What's the most important thing you've learned since starting at Instawork?

The most important thing I've learned at Instawork is the power of empathy, collaboration, and experimentation in creating impactful products. By stepping into the shoes of our users, I've developed a deeper understanding of their needs, enabling us to design solutions that truly make a difference. I've also learned the value of balancing speed with precision‚Äîmoving fast while ensuring we solve the right problems.

In 10 words or less, how would you describe the culture at Instawork?

Innovative, mission-first, and full of learning opportunities.
