Event Manager Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled Event Manager to lead the planning and execution of dynamic and engaging events that not only drive new business but also reinforce our unique organizational culture. The Event Manager will conduct both short- and long-term planning and management for events and sales. This role involves developing and recommending budgets, marketing plans, and objectives, while ensuring adherence to approved plans. The successful candidate will maintain or exceed budgeted sales and profits across all event areas and will be responsible for creating effective marketing strategies to generate event revenues.
Key responsibilities include evaluating each event opportunity to ensure it can be properly serviced, assembling creative and innovative event attractions, and collaborating with internal teams or qualified vendors as needed. The Event Manager will also train, supervise, and work closely with local staff to solicit and book banquet and catering functions, overseeing the planning, merchandising, and execution of these events.
