A prep cook’s role refers to a back of house worker whose primary responsibility is to set up the job site for success.
Prep Cook responsibilities:
Follow Chef guidelines.
Preparing all food items to order, following standard recipes and procedures within specified time limits.
Properly execute all recipe procedures.
Prepare a variety of foods with different methods of preparation.
Follow company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
Complete assigned prep work to stock and set up stations.
