Strict Dress Code: plain white chef coat, chef black pants, non-slip shoes, knife set, black hat (no logos). MUST sign in and out on timesheet to be paid. Event may run longer (be flexible!). MUST commit to all 4 days. Saturday and Sunday shifts actually run until 12 midnight.

A prep cook’s role refers to a back of house worker whose primary responsibility is to set up the job site for success.
Prep Cook responsibilities:
Ensure that all the required ingredients for the service are stocked and labeled for easy access.
Measure the ingredients in advance for cooking.
Arrange the necessary ingredients and seasoning required according to the chef’s directions.
Follow the prep list as provided.
Perform necessary cooking activities such as boiling or frying vegetables, making broths and reducing sauces.
Preparing basic dishes like entrees and salads.
Ensure the food and ingredients are stored properly.
Ensure the kitchen environment and stations are clean and ready for cooking.
Perform other kitchen tasks as necessary.
Follow health and sanitation guidelines.
Stay up to date with best practices in the industry.
