WORK POLICIES: Must have great attitude to pick up this gig. Must be flexible and open to changes. You may only bring items that can fit in your pockets. There will be no storage for bags and we will not be responsible for personal items brought on site. All professionals must sign a confidentiality agreement upon signing in for their shift. While working, it is Wolfgang Puck’s policy that cell phones may not be used. They must be off or on silent mode, and never visible. All professionals will be given a 30 minute break and provided a staff meal.

A prep cook’s role refers to a back of house worker whose primary responsibility is to set up the job site for success.
Prep Cook responsibilities:
Complete the opening and/or closing prep list. Refer to daily prep list at the start of each shift for assigned duties. Communicate any questions to the Kitchen Manager on duty. Understands and complies consistently with our standard portion sizes, cooking methods and recipes. Understands and complies with all kitchen rules, policies, and procedures. Maintains a clean and sanitary work station including knives, cutting surfaces, line equipment . Handles equipment with care having safety in mind at all times. Always checks with the kitchen manager before leaving shift and clocking out. Maintains a clean and sanitary work environment. Stocks and puts away daily deliveries. Rotates food items correctly. Constantly consolidating and correctly labeling all food items as needed. Communicates with Kitchen Manager of any product shortages. Performs any other related duties assigned by the on duty Kitchen Manager or Executive Chef.
