This is a standby position that guarantees at least 2 hours of pay in the event you're not placed into a full shift. We recommend arriving early to increase the chances of getting assigned into a shift in the event another Professional arrives late, no-shows, or is sent home. Get in line to check-in at the Sands Expo Food and Beverage office. Be prepared to provide ID and food handler card to check out the chef coat. Bring a lock to borrow a locker. no personal belongings allowed in the kitchen or on the floor. Double shifts are not allowed at the Sands and Venetian properties. Complete your prep list, efficiently run your station during the shift, follow all specs, and stock food as needed. Rinse and cut raw food products. Portion all the products, follow the recipes, and always make sure the plate presentation looks great. Keep it clean! Follow the sanitization standards, make sure your work station stays clean and organized, and follow all of the food handling standards.
