As a Pick associate, you will pick and pack orders throughout our fulfillment center for our customers. You will be on your feet throughout the duration of your shift, pushing a cart with up to 10 boxes through different temperature zones. You must be comfortable working in coolers and freezers. You must be comfortable using a hand held scanner and following the prompts within the app as you move through your pick run. Our team works with a sense of urgency and we expect you to do so as well. Every few hours our, leads & supervisors will review how many units you have picked per hour and provide feedback. Your first day on the gig will be training. We will pair you and another Instawork associate with one of our internal team members and shadow them for 4 hours. After lunch, our internal associate will shadow you the other Instawork associate for 4 hours. On the second day of the assignment you will be on your own. Dress in warehouse appropriate attire with closed toed shoes.

Description

A general labor role refers to a laborer whose primary responsibility is preparing for a larger scale event.

General labour responsibilities:

Performs custodial activities to include sweeping, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, washing, scrubbing, cleaning and polishing building floors, walls, windows, ceilings and drinking fountains.
Cleans, sanitizes, and/or disinfects restroom ,sinks, showers, plumbing fixtures, walls, floors, partitions, door handles, counter tops, mirrors, and benches.
Collects and deposes of debris and trash.
Assisting with Loading/Unloading equipment.
Responsible for insuring assigned work is correctly completed in a timely manner.
Drives company vehicle for local pickups and deliveries.
Respond to maintenance calls.
Stay on task, stay safe, stay informed, and stay motivated.
Maintains good customer service, communication, and relationships with team members.
