As a Pick associate, you will pick and pack orders throughout our fulfillment center for our customers. You will be on your feet throughout the duration of your shift, pushing a cart with up to 10 boxes through different temperature zones. You must be comfortable working in coolers and freezers. You must be comfortable using a hand held scanner and following the prompts within the app as you move through your pick run. Our team works with a sense of urgency and we expect you to do so as well. Every few hours our, leads & supervisors will review how many units you have picked per hour and provide feedback. Your first day on the gig will be training. We will pair you and another Instawork associate with one of our internal team members and shadow them for 4 hours. After lunch, our internal associate will shadow you the other Instawork associate for 4 hours. On the second day of the assignment you will be on your own. Dress in warehouse appropriate attire with closed toed shoes.

General labour responsibilities:
Performs other janitorial/custodial services including sweep, mop and wax floors, wash walls & windows, maintain and supply restrooms requirements. Cleans and polishes furniture and fixtures. Assists as needed in performing maintenance, production and/or shipping duties as relief for workers in other departments. Assist in the set-up, clean-up and removal of events. Assist in set-up of chairs, tables, platforms, speaker tables, stages and any other materials requested by event coordinators. Respond to needs of event coordinator for necessary changes . Protect equipment and make sure there are no inadequacies. Notify superiors on any damages, deficits and disturbances Maintains good customer service, communication, and relationships with team members
