As an Event Server you will be expected to perform some or all, but not limited to, the following details: Setting up a beer and wine bar. Opening/pouring wine, opening/pouring beer, setting up and cleaning up buffets. Restocking food. Picking up plates, glasses, debris during an event. Dumping/changing out trash liners, putting supplies away. Also moving tables and chairs to the desired event configuration and returning them at the conclusion.

An event server role refers to a front of house worker whose primary responsibility is to assist the guests in having a positive experience.
Event Server responsibilities:
Greet every guest with a smile and positive attitude. Ensure proper set-up of tables in assigned section. Inspect linen, silver, china, and other items prior to using them. Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of menu; market specials and suggest alternatives to guests. Take and fill customer orders. Check food prior to serving; ensure presentation and temperature is in accordance with company standards. Coordinate service with other servers. Serve food and beverages to guests, refills beverages as needed. Handle guest requests personally and/or refer as appropriate. Demonstrate the company values through service and teamwork. Create luxury for all the senses by serving guests at the event in accordance with company standards. Respond to customer requests and complaints. Clean banquet area during and after events, if so assigned.
