An event server role refers to a front of house worker whose primary responsibility is to assist the guests in having a positive experience.
Event Server responsibilities:
Greet guests as they arrive. Communicate offerings to guests and take food and beverage orders Food Service Run food to the appropriate table and seat numbers. Set up food stations. Take orders for and retrieve alcoholic beverage items from bar and serve to guests. Abide by state liquor regulations, particularly those prohibiting service to minors, intoxicated persons and drunk driving. Open and serve beer, wine, and champagne bottles. Set-up, monitor and refresh coffee service as needed. Clear dirty china, silver and glassware then clean and organize at dish station. Resolve guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction. Check in and out at the beginning and end of your shift. Attend all staff meetings. Perform any other duties as requested by manager.
