Attire: Women: sundresses of an appropriate length, dark jeans, black pants, skirts, button down shirts, blouses. Floral, plaid, or solid color tops encouraged. Men: dark jeans or khaki pants with button down solid color/plaid shirts. Floral, plaid, or solid color tops encouraged. Everyone: no sleeveless (no tank tops, no cut off sleeves, no sleeveless tops/dresses), no bra straps showing, no rips, holes, or embellishments. Everyone must wear closed toed shoes for service: clogs, boots, work shoes. Bring a cardigan or jacket for the evening as the temperature will drop. Please be free of any scents/fragrances/body odors. Long hair should be pulled back neatly for service. Please bring layers for the evening, and sun protection for the day.
Please make sure to bring a water bottle and stay hydrated! Allow yourself plenty of time to get to the site on time. Arrive in clothes for set-up, something you don't mind getting a bit dirty. Bring everything with you that you will need for the evening: change of clothes for service, close-toed shoes, water bottle, snacks, LUNCH, SNACKS, sunscreen, Tupperware for leftovers (we will provide family meal after the event), etc. Attend pre-shift meeting where we will learn about the menu, wines, and service notes. Pay attention and take notes you will be asked questions by the guests!Maintain a professional and personable manner at the table and with all guests, service staff, and kitchen crews. Extensive verbal communication to guests of different farms, producers and methods (previously explained in service, chef and wine meetings)Keep pace with all other service staff members during each wine pouring and course to show cohesiveness of service.
