Pre-event duties include arriving on-site at the scheduled time, checking in with event manager, securing belongings in the food prep area, assist in unloading van, setting up tables/chairs according to the diagram, dropping linens, rolling flatware if needed, setting up coffee/beverage station, arrange cake table, filling water goblets, lighting sternos and candles on tables. During the event, Servers will interact with guests when needed, provide beverage service and bussing tables. Post-event duties include taking any remaining glassware, plates, flatware to bussing area, pulling linens, breaking down tables/chairs, assisting culinary wash and pack serving pieces, assisting bartenders break down the bar, emptying trash cans and assist helping load the van.

Event Server responsibilities:
Greet guests as they arrive. Providing strong customer service, check on guests and ensure customer satisfaction. Placing tables and chairs, putting up decorations, and preparing serving stations, Ensure the event is properly set up for guests. Serve food and beverages, taking orders and offering dishes to guests, making sure that there is enough food for everyone. Collect used dishes and utensils from tables and return them to the dishwashing area and make sure that all dishes and utensils are clean before use. Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in serving food, banquet servers ensure the area is clean and tidy. Clean up messes and spills during the event, wiping surfaces to keep the area presentable.
