Stephanie will walk you through everything on your first day. You'll go from ChowTown to the WP Engine - DOWNTOWN location at 504 Lavaca St #1000, Austin, TX 78701. Keep your parking pass to be validated. Log mileage and Stephanie will reimburse you the following week with a personal check.
Your role is to load your personal car with the plates, utensils, warm bins of food, and transport it to WP Engine for the evening catered dinner. This is a HIGH-value client for ChowTown so it is important to be on your very best behavior when interacting with the employees at WP. You'll set up and work the buffet for about 2 hours then break down and transport back to ChowTown located at 14735 Bratton Ln. Suite 210 Austin, TX.

Event Server responsibilities:
Greet and serve guests following company policies/procedures. Set up china, glass and silverware according to established guidelines in a timely and efficient manner. Run food from the kitchen to the banquet hall on demand. Prepare side station for service. Lift trays, dish racks, glass racks, etc. Up to 20-40lbs. Remain attentive to the customers throughout the entire dining experience, while adhering to/exceeding service standards. Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times observing all safety rules. Follow proper beverage handling procedures. Perform other duties as assigned.
