Description

A dishwasher refers to a back of house worker whose primary responsibilities are to keep the dishpit clean and functioning.

Dishwasher's responsibilities:

Ensures work areas are kept clean at all times.
Empties trash and spot sweeps whenever floor needs it or upon manager’s request .
Performs opening and closing responsibilities in a timely and detailed manner Restocks and prepares supplies for shift change or close.
Keeps all dishes, silverware and all other FOH items clean .
Maintains clean and organized shelves for all BOH smallwares.
Pre-rinses all items before entering the dish machine to prolong the waters life .
Refreshes dish machine water as needed and removes waste from drain guards .
Washes racks of silverware before they become too full to avoid dirty pieces.
