Please arrive at 485 Mass Ave and buzz into Digital Ocean the 5th floor "5005". Proceed to the back kitchen and get the fold up table set up along the back left wall to be ready for when the food arrives. Once the table is set up, go down to the front of the building and wait for the caterer to show up, between 11:15-11: 45 am. Once they have arrived go up with them and help them set up. Always set up in the order of greens, bases(rice, noodles, etc.), proteins and toppings, sauces. Make sure to set up the dish-cards & be aware of the dietary tags. Next, take a picture of the food, sent to Katie. Employees will come once the food is set up and make their own plate. Make sure you are replenishing and cleaning up. By 1:00 pm most people will have taken their meal. Check in with the "team member" to see if they are wanting to have a food donation pick up. If they do, please wrap up fully the containers and contact Katie to schedule a donation pick up.

A Busser/Food Runner role refers to a front of house worker whose primary responsibility is to support the servers of the job site.
Busser/Food runner responsibilities:
Clear tables after guests. Take tableware to dish room and place silverware, dishes, glassware, etc. in appropriate areas for washing. Stay customer focused and nurture an excellent customer experience. Promptly clean table tops, chairs, and booths between seating. Also including the railing around the still. Ensure all high chairs and booster seats are cleaned regularly and put away properly. Check floor and sweep clean as required. Reset and arrange table tops. Respond appropriately to guest requests. Communicate guest requests to server as needed. Thank guests as they are leaving. Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor. Could be asked to wash dishes in the absence of a dishwasher and or as directed. Keep area stocked with rags and spray bottles throughout the day and ensure that we don’t have to fill spray bottles or go downstairs for rags. Monitor trash cans to ensure that they have trash bags in them, trash removed if needed, and cleaned weekly. Filling in for absent staff as needed. Responsible for ensuring work area(s) are stocked with items that will be needed while on shift. Ensure that work stations are properly refilled at the end of every shift. Assist with special events as requested. Handle any problems that might arise both courteously and professionally. Consistently adhere to grooming and appearance standards set by the company. Understand and can communicate to guests our available food and beverage products, as well as Journeyman/Staymaker accommodations and services.
