Attire: Black T-Shirt, Black Slacks, Gym Shoes (Preferably Black or Mostly Black). SBR to provide a branded baseball cap and T-Shirt on site.
You will be given specific placement at a hospitality tent in Grant Park to set-up and serve a beer, wine and soda bar to clients. As with any event, you are an extension of SBR Events Group - please represent us well! Plan on a warm day and bring plenty of water and cool clothing. Please arrive in black pants, muted color sneakers or outdoor black shoes and a black plain t-shirt. An Event Shirt will be given to you when you arrive at the HUB. Please limit the amount of items you bring to the event as storage will be an issue and you will likely have to carry on your back your possessions and keep them with you throughout the day. Please bring extra shoes, socks and pants as the ground in some areas is soggy!

A bartender role refers to a front of house worker whose primary responsibility is to create a hospitable and responsible environment for guests to enjoy themselves.
Follow all state and local laws for serving alcohol responsibly (e.g., last call times). Prepare drink orders for guests according to specified recipes using measuring systems. Maintain cleanliness and condition of bar, bar unit (CO2 lines, soda tanks, soda guns, drain, etc.), tables, and other tools, following all set-up guidelines. Prepare fresh garnishes for drinks. Document and communicate any incidents/accidents immediately to management and Loss Prevention during shift or event. Stock ice, glassware, and paper supplies. Requisition all necessary supplies, specifically bottle-for-bottle liquor restock, transporting supplies from storeroom to bar set-up area as required. Remove soiled wares from bar top and tables and place in designated area. Anticipate and communicate replenishment needs promptly, ensuring no shortages throughout scheduled function time, and ensuring proper authorization for additional payments as required prior to replenishing.
