This is a large venue. Please be prepared for a lot of walking, also, you will be helping unload and load the van. You may wear a short sleeve black shirt for set up. No graphics or tank top, please. Also, cell service is very spotty at this location so you might not be able to reach the lead if they are already at the venue.

Description

A barback role refers to a front of house worker whose primary responsibility is to support the bartender at the job site.

Barback's responsibilities:

Ensures proper and adequate set-up of the bar on a daily basis by requisitioning and stocking all beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments and produce according to established policies
Greets all customers in a warm, sincere, and helpful manner
Ensures that work areas are clean and that equipment, tools, and supplies are properly stored
Cleans and secures glassware throughout the shift
Ensures compliance with all applicable federal and state laws and all company policies
Provides assistance and backup to the bartenders
